2. Data We Collect
We collect only the personal data necessary to fulfill orders and provide our services: full name, email address, shipping address, phone number (if provided), and order details (selected products, materials, quality presets). When obtaining a quote for your own model, we also collect uploaded 3D files (STL or 3MF). We do not collect or store payment data (card numbers, bank accounts) — this is processed exclusively by the payment provider Stripe.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data based on Article 6(1) GDPR: (b) processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for taking pre-contractual steps (order processing, quote generation); (c) processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations (accounting and tax legislation); (f) processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller (service improvement, fraud prevention). We do not process data based on consent unless we explicitly request it.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data exclusively for: processing and fulfilling orders, communication regarding orders (confirmations, status updates, complaints), preparing price quotes based on uploaded 3D models, fulfilling legal obligations (accounting, tax reporting), and improving the operation of the online store. We do not sell, share, or disclose your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Payment Processor (Stripe)
We use Stripe, Inc. for payment processing. When you make a payment, your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe through their secure interface and are never stored on our servers. Stripe processes data in accordance with PCI DSS standards and its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). Stripe may process data outside the EU/EEA, while providing appropriate safeguards in accordance with GDPR.
6. Cookies
Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of the store: a cookie for maintaining shopping cart state (stores selected products during your visit) and an administrator session cookie (for store management). We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising cookies. Since these are strictly necessary cookies, consent under the ePrivacy Directive is not required.
7. Data Retention Period
Order data (name, address, email, purchase details) is retained in accordance with legal requirements for accounting and tax documentation (10 years under the Slovenian Tax Procedure Act). Uploaded 3D files (STL, 3MF) are automatically deleted within 30 days after order fulfillment. Shopping cart data is retained only during your visit to the website (session cookie).
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR), rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16), erasure of data when there is no longer a legal basis for processing (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability in a structured format (Article 20), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Article 21).
